The GayCamp Association is always looking for people who wants to contribute.

The assignment is to together with the board, plan and run a summer camp for gay and bisexual men, which takes place a week every summer since more than 40 years back. This means, among other things: planning activities, arranging smaller events at the camp or helping out at the camp during the week.

We are looking for you who identify yourself as a man and are gay or bisexual, and are driven, proactive and like to make things happen. If you have previous experience of volunteer work or project management that’s great but it’s not a must.

If this sounds interesting, don't hesitate to email us today at gaycamp@gaycamp.se - write a few lines about yourself and any questions you may have.

The GayCamp Association

The GayCamp Association is a non-profit organization led by a board of about 10 people. The board operates on a voluntary basis and consists of people with experience in arranging GayCamp camps.

Our main activity is to arrange a summer camp each year. Every autumn we have a reunion for participants at this year's summer camp. We have organized summer camps since 1983 and in 2023 we celebrated our 40 year anniversary.

Our purpose & goals

To create social networking and deepen relations between Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) of different ages and from different backgrounds and cultures.

To integrate closeted MSM with men that are more secure and integrated in their gay, bisexuality and transgender identity.

To defend bisexual and transgender MSM rights and interests in the homo/hetero community.

To integrate MSM with different ethnic backgrounds.

To integrate HIV positive MSM with presumably HIV negative MSM.

To promote sexual health among MSM, by giving accurate and non-judgmental information about HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases (STI).

To welcome all MSM independent of religion or non-religion. GayCamp promotes discussions about religion and faith, but is neutral in all questions about religion and faith.

To create a homo-social meeting place that is not dependent on the financial fitness or commercial environments with alcohol consumption.

To provide facilities for physically and mentally disabled MSM to participate in the homo social community.
